Rose Bower - 30 in 30 Challenge

Rose Bower            oil panel            10" x 8"

Today I imagined one of those shady arches you find in the summer decked out with white roses. I used a limited palette of yellow ochre, transparent oxide brown, viridian and white. I don't know what made me think I could paint roses without a photo sources, but I tried to keep solving just one problem at a time and enjoyed the result!
