Unpacking In Eagle, Idaho and OPA Acceptance!

Alicia In Basque Dress   18" x 14"  oil on linen panel
We have made the move and are now in Eagle, Idaho. While we have been unpacking and trying to get re-organised, I got some nice news that this painting of my niece was accepted into the
Oil Painters of America Western Regional show in Carmel, CA so I'm thankful and happy about that as well. She has always been a good model for me and fun to paint....thanks Alicia!

On the business side of things, PayPal links have been restored on my website and I am up and running once again. I appreciate those of you who've put works on hold and have been patient during this crazy bit of time. Thank you!

A Painting Break While We Move - packing, packing, packing.........

The Perfect Cup      6" x 8"       oil on linen
I will be taking about a three week break while we are moving and things are crazy busy! We are looking forward to the new adventure, but finding time to paint will be impossible for what I am estimating to be about three weeks. At least that's what I'm telling myself, though I hope to make it back to the easel sooner. Meanwhile I am also disabling my website PayPal links as of Monday during this time. If you have questions on a particular painting, or would like to put one on hold, just email me. I'll be back to painting and in business just as soon as I can! See ya' then :)

Watchful - Geese with Goslings

Watchful         10" x 8"          oil on panel
We are back from a visit to Eagle, Idaho and I caught a few pictures of these geese with their darling new goslings. There were six total, but I just used the one for this composition. As the little ones ran here and there, the parents stayed close..... a really sweet scene repeated over and over. The grass near the pond edge is thick with all the wonderful lush spring green colors you'd expect. Really fun!
