Iris Garden

Iris Garden     16x12"         oil on panel
Here is a re-post while I'm away for a few days.

Today's post is painting that I experimented on, with regard to the surface, using flowers I love. This is done on Ampersand Pastelboard and it was a really interesting surface to work on.

This iris is beautiful. I love how you spotlighted one flower and all the others are mostly suggested. Very nice!

Beautiful, Mary. I love the softness in the backgound. Really supports the center of interest.
