Fall Fishing II - more flyfishing and color on the Grand Ronde river

Fall Fishing II        oil on linen panel        8" x 10"
More fishing on the Grand Ronde for today with a bright and crisp fall day. I enjoyed the light in the canyon again on this one as with the last. I thought about adding a bit stronger color, but decided it would take away from the the main idea here and 'story' so to speak.

As a fly-fisher and an oil painter I must agree with Celeste....you capture these scenes beautifully. By the way, I must sadly report I'm a better flyfisher than oil painter.

You have the amazing ability to take me to a time and place where I can feel the sun and hear the water. Lovely painting, Mary.
