Palouse Canola Fields- a summer landscape

Palouse Canola Fields             oil         9"x 7"
Yesterday, we finally made our way home and all through the day the skies built up with billowy cloud forms. Then, they would string out and disappear. It all had the added bonus of the bright yellow canola fields that could be seen in patches both large and small. This is one sketch from the day's journey. I forgot to mention on my last post that Leslie Saeta has kindly asked me to co-host Artists Helping Artists for the month of July. Our 1st show was "Christmas in July! " It was a lot of fun and I think we provided several ways for artists to plan ahead for the season & marketing their work. If you were a listener, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Tune in again Thursday for an interview with Ric Nagualero.

Really beautiful skies. My favorite part is your use of aqua at the horizon. It is beautiful with the lavenders and blues in the clouds.

Un ciel extraordinaire... On peut sentir la brise qui souffle dans cette toile.
J'aime le mouvement de vos nuages et la belle harmonie de couleurs.

Gros bisous.
