Fall Into Winter II

Fall Into Winter II    9"x 9"     oil/linen panel
This is a second look at the Coeur d'Alene River around the area of Cataldo Mission. It's cold, but only with patches of snow in the hills. The warm and cool colors of this season alway have me thinking of the warm and cool temperature changes and they make an interesting idea in a painting I think.

Une peinture très réussie.
Gros bisous et bonne journée à vous.

I love this painting, Mary! The reflections with all those wonderful colors in the water and the little bit of snow on the mountain makes this the perfect piece!
