Shall We Dance? pink Hollyhocks

Shall We Dance   6"x 6"   oil on linen panel
Thanks for your insights on my critique and ideas from yesterday's post. Today, I knew I wanted to revisit Hollyhocks, which I never get tired of, no matter the season. These were next to the B&B in Victoria where we stayed briefly in the fall. I always enjoy the way the little skirts of these blossoms sway in the breeze, doing a little dance.

  3. Mary, this is stunning. But really, I've never seen anything on your site that isn't : ) I love the light background. Easy to read. As for prints, I'd say no! but I'm kind of a purist that way. Anyway, thanks for sharing your beautiful work.
