In Disguise

In Disguise    oil    9"x 6"
Last summer on a shopping trip, I snapped a picture of my niece when she tried on these oversized sunglasses. She is usually not too much of a shopper unless it's for Nike's (and more Nike's), so these glasses did seem to put her "In Disguise"  : )

Thanks everyone, and Nancy, take heart -just before I painted this I told my husband 'I'm in a painting slump!!' I grabbed this photo because I always enjoy painting her, but also I hardly EVER use orange and wanted to shake things up :) Mary

Beautiful painting, beautiful pose. Love the side of her face! The whole painting is very calming, even though you said you used orange.
