Planting Annuals

Planting Annuals  oil  8x8"
Here's another flower planting set up, and as with yesterday's, these flowers just don't seem to want to plant themselves! I was heartened though when Catherine Jeffrey and Julie Hill both left comments giving me some leeway! I guess I'm not the only one :)

Mary, you have a beautiful, fluid way of painting tangles of leaves, stems etc... They look so natural. This is absolutely gorgeous!

Beautiful. love the handling of the fence (?) in the background.

Sure made lovely props for you Mary! Beautiful . . . as always.
I think it's an epidemic, for mine just don't want to plant themselves either.

They always look so beautiful in the nursery that I can't wait to bring them home. But planting them after I get them home somehow isn't as compelling. I've done it often enough that my husband comments when I come home with a flat.
