Sky Over Brown's lake

Sky Over Brown's Lake   oil  10"x8"
This is the second of the paintings from the outing at Brown's Lake (see yesterday's post). The clouds were really rolling in and provided alot of movement and variety throughout the afternoon. The Balsam is blooming now and I used some of that yellow to warm up the foreground.

Mary, what a lovely piece. Those clouds are so dramatic yet soothing to look at.
