Ranunculus

Ranunculus  6x6" oil
Ranuncula are some of the first spring flowers I notice every spring in the garden centers. They look so sturdy with their bright lollipop blooms and sturdy stems.......but they're not here for long and will soon be taken over by all the competing color of longer flowers. Lovely while they last though.

  3. Another great piece. I don't know this flower. It must not do well at this altitude.

  7. This is lovely, Mary-soft but strong, and your brushwork is great. I will have to see if this flower grows in NC.
