Red Cloud Evening

Red Cloud Evening  18"x18"  oil/linen panel
About a week ago, I talked about developing small works to larger and how they change (or don't) and how the translation from the smaller work, becomes an interesting journey in itself. This is another, and was developed from my smaller Red Clouds post. This painting is certainly a softer approach , and the color not quite as intense.

It's tricky business, this "growing them up", but you have accomplished it beautifully, Mary!

This is very dramatic. Wonderful rhythm and movement.

Beautiful Mary. I love the sweeping colors and brush strokes along the horizon. Dramatic and very nice.
