Snowy Apples

Snowy Apples      9"x 9"    oil on linen       $200
I've been seeing a few snowy branches that still have apples on them and they're looking like Mother Nature's Christmas ornaments to me. The apples have gone dark and have varying kinds of spotting from going soft. I enjoyed working with such a cool light and the patterns created by the branches as well.

  6. This has a wonderful Oriental feeling to it. You really captured the feeling of the snow laying on the apples. I also really like your brushstrokes and how they help define the shapes.
