Shadowed Barn

Shadowed Barn          10"x8"   oil
This barn is one that is close by and it is weathering to a more beautiful shade of rose every year. I thought I'd try to catch some of the subtle color in it this season. One of these days, I'm afraid I'll pass by and it will have fallen down completely!

There such emotion in this piece. I have seen so many buildings like this over the years and you have captured the feeling so well. Lovely color!

Good job on the faded paint and the leaning architecture. And as Linda said there is a lot of emotion in your painting. Well done!

How wonderfully you have captured the weathering without making it looked depressing. Just love the color choices here.
