Sunflower Season

Sunflower Season    9"x 9"   acrylic
Thanks to all of you who took the time to comment on my last post. Those of you detail oriented folks may notice that I corrected the size. It is 36"x48". As I'd been working in acrylic, I used that medium once again to paint this bouquet from the local farmer' market.

I just love the way you handle painting flowers! I also love the look you get with acrylics. I think it is difficult to switch back and forth from acrylics to oils. Maybe when I have more experience with both I will be able to do so more successfully!

You always do such a beautiful job with flowers. I like the warm reddish table top contrasted with the yellow flowers.

Sunflowers are such happy flowers. Nice painting, and nice handling of the acrylics.
