Monashka Bay Free Day

Monashka Bay Free Day    14"x11"   acrylic
We've recently returned from a week in Kodiak, Alaska and while exploring with a friend, found Monashka Bay. As we drove into a parking area and headed on foot toward the water, we heard noise and laughing and what sounded like a wild party. It kind of was.....we soon saw lots of kids walking and running along the beach and identified a couple of teachers to ask what was going on. 'Oh, we couldn't resist giving them a day of sunshine, while we still have some' we were told. This is one of the groups exploring....

Just beautiful, your sky and the reflections in the water are wonderful. I have always wanted to see Alaska.
