Little Begonia

Little Begonia   10"x 8"   oil   sold
This little pot of flowers came together as a visual unit because of the light struck area on the right. Without that, it might have just been a pot of blurry begonias! I tried also to gray my shadow areas, so that the pure color really popped.

So right, that spot of light made that painting. Beautiful colors.

they definately pop.... but in an abstract, warm fuzzy way, this holds together beautifully Mary.

I love the light on the right - it really is what hold the paintings together. And the abstract way in which you did the flowers - great!
