Crossing Over

Crossing Over   12x9   oil on linen
This is from a sketch and photo I took in Teton National Park. I liked the visual intersection of the bridge and the trees, and it seemed to fall together well in composition. The reflected blues are some of my favorite areas.

Love this soothing landscape. Fantastic use of purple on the tree trunks and I like the way you indicated the light rocky shoreline. Beautiful & painterly.

This is fabulous, Mary. Love the strong composition, strong darks and chunks of beautifully harmonized color.

This is such a beautiful painting. The way you painted the water with different strokes of color really reads "water".
