Soft Sky

Soft Sky 9"x 9" oil     sold
I need to be away for about a week and will be showing work from previous posts for awhile. Hope you enjoy my look back .....

I usually don't work with such a high key palette, but thought I'd experiment a bit. So here I have close values and an almost monochromatic color scheme. An interesting change, and I guess sometime change is good?

Mary, This is great, you have lots of variety in your strokes, that nice warm cream color really puts a punch in it and I appreciate the texture of the thick paint. Well done.

Mary, this sky makes me feel like I can fly! I agree with rahina; it would be beautiful as a large piece, too.
