Pocket Water

Pocket Water       oil/linen panel         9" x 7"
I have a pretty active scene here and used the fallen trees, angle of the water and the vertical figure to create a flow around and through the composition. Edges were mostly soft or lost, but I kept hard edges around the figure. The title comes from water created by lots of rocks and tumbling current, creating pockets where fish hide.
