Flower Bench

Flower Bench  14"x 11"  oil
Thanks Susan Roux for the title to yesterday's fly fishing painting "Wading and Waiting"-very clever :)
These geraniums stood outside a cafe on a most wonderful blue enameled  bench seat and the complimentary color scheme really said 'paint me!' It was a profusion of flowers, but I wanted the focus to be on the idea of the color scheme and the abundance, rather than each flower separately.

You captured the abundance of the flowers well and love the color scheme.

Great success with this one, Mary. I love how you captured such a casual feel and kept the flowers as the main interest.
